Do you prescribe medications?

As a licensed professional counselor Dr. Murphy is unable to prescribe medications. As a Doctor of Behavioral Health she has extensive training collaborating and coordinating care with medical providers and is happy to work closely with your prescriber regarding prescription medication concerns. 


Do you accept insurance?

Dr. Murphy currently accepts Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, cash, check or debit/credit card for payment. She is happy to provide a Super Bill with necessary diagnostic codes for submission to your insurance company for reimbursement if you are covered by a plan other than BCBS. She also accepts Health Savings Accounts (HSA) for services.


What do I need to bring for personal training?

All potential training clients are required to bring proof of medical clearance from their general practitioner stating they are healthy enough to begin physical activity to the initial fitness assessment. For training sessions please bring a towel and water. All equipment will be provided. 


What happens if I cancel an appointment?

It's understandable that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled. 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge of 50% cost of the scheduled service.
