I am a recent graduate of Northern Arizona University’s Master’s in Counseling – School Counseling program and I am excited to join Healthy Synergy, LLC as a Mental Health Counselor (Masters-Level Clinician) in pursuit of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I am currently under the direct supervision of Dr. Sophia Murphy, DBH, LPC, CPT. I am a highly motivated, active person, and I find that when I maintain my physical fitness, my mental health follows suit.  I believe in the benefit of living a healthy lifestyle and the power of balanced positivity. 

 

As a counselor I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors as they relate to life and their pursuit of mental health, personal, professional and lifestyle goals.  I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative provider.  I believe that, as individuals, we are the only ones in control of our thoughts and behaviors.  I also believe in the power each person possesses within themselves.  Together, we will work to explore your thoughts and emotions with the goal of channeling your personal power to effect the positive change and transformation you wish to see in your life and beyond.

 

Additional Education: I completed my undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Spanish and Marketing from Central Michigan University, and I hold a Certificate in Spanish Translation from Arizona State University.
